The Mphanda Nkuwa Hydroelectric Project Implementation Office (GMNK) participated in the 58th Edition of the Maputo International Fair – FACIM 2023, which took place from 28 August to 3 September 2023, in the district of Marracuene, in the Province of Maputo.
During its presence at the largest business fair in Mozambique, GMNK presented to the general public and interested parties the implementation stage of the Mphanda Nkuwa project, such as the financing mobilization process, the elaboration of the Social Development Program, the actions of Environmental, Social and Governance safeguards of the project, the Professional Internship Program, among other topics.
GMNK also presented the theme “Contribution of Mphanda Nkuwa to the Energy Transition and Regional Decarbonization” at seminars organized by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy.
In addition to the visit from the general public and interested parties, the GMNK stand also had the prestigious visit of renowned figures from our country and internationally, in particular the President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi and his counterpart from Ghana, among others .
