Mphanda Nkuwa
Estima-se que a central hidroeléctrica de 1.500 MW venha a ter o custo de produção de energia mais baixo de todas as centrais eléctricas existentes em Moçambique e na região, constituindo uma proposta de investimento atrativa.
- Barragem a 61 km a justante de Cahora Bassa;
- Central Hidroeléctrica até 1.500 MW;
- Linha de Transporte de Energia de Tete a Maputo de 1300 km;
- Custo estimado: 4,5 a 5,0 mil milhões USD;
- Período de construção: 5 - 6 anos;
